Terms of Service

1. About the Site

The Site presents information about Dreamcoat Media and invites prospective partners to apply for our services in speaking, podcast production, and book writing and publishing. The Site is informational; it is not an offer to enter into a contract.

2. Applications are not a contract

Submitting the application form does not create any partnership, agency relationship, engagement, or obligation on our part. We are an invite-only, application-based studio and may accept or decline any application at our sole discretion, for any reason or no reason. A binding engagement exists only when both parties sign a separate written agreement that describes the specific scope, fees, and terms of the work.

3. No guarantee of results

Building platforms, audiences, and published works depends on many factors outside our control, including your participation, your market, and third-party platforms. We do not promise or guarantee any particular outcome — such as bookings, downloads, sales, rankings, revenue, audience growth, media coverage, or “bestseller” status. Any examples, ranges, or anchors shown are illustrative only and are not promises of performance.

4. Intellectual property

Our property

The Site and its contents — including the Dreamcoat Media name, the multicolor ribbon and pencil-tip logomark, the “Run Your Race, We’ll Build the Platform” tagline, copy, design, graphics, layout, and code — are owned by Dreamcoat Media or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, scrape, frame, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.

Your submissions

You keep ownership of the content you submit through the application form. By submitting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content solely to review and respond to your application. You represent that you have the right to share what you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Site or our services, you agree we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to:

6. Third-party services and links

The Site relies on and may link to third-party services (for example, hosting, email delivery, fonts, or scheduling). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and your use of their services is governed by their own terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dreamcoat Media and its owners, members, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site — even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dreamcoat Media and its owners, members, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [your county], North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Each party will bear its own costs except as a court may order.

11. Changes to the Site and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, and we may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in full effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Dreamcoat Media regarding the Site, and supersede any prior understandings about the Site. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
